Holiday Apartment in Gemeinde Maria Alm Am Steinernen Meer with South-Facing Terrace

The apartment building lies in the centre of the ski carousel Aberg-Hintertal-Mühlbach, not far from Saalfelden.Apartment furnished in a traditional Salzburg style, in an apartment building with a shared pool, a shared sauna, a south-facing terrace and free wireless Internet access, not far from Saalfelden in the Hochkönig region

The holiday apartment is on the ground floor of a four-storey apartment building, measures 73m² and comprises two halls, a living room with a tiled fireplace stove and seating, a bed bench (90 x 210cm), a dining table with a bench and chairs for six people, and an adjoining open kitchen that includes a dishwasher, electric stove, microwave and fridge. There are also two bedrooms, one with a large double bed (200 x 210cm) and one with two single beds (90 x 200cm), a WC and a shower room with a further toilet. The apartment is furnished in a traditional Salzburg style, is heated with radiators and an electric tiled stove, has TV sets (cable TV with a wide range of channels in various languages) and plenty of cupboard space in each room. The apartment is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.

The apartment features a large south-facing terrace and a private, free parking space for house guests.

The amply equipped apartment building offers a concierge service, an indoor pool, a sauna, a bowling alley, table tennis, table football, wireless Internet access throughout the house, a shared laundry room in the cellar, a lockable ski depot and a communal party room. The pool, sauna, table tennis and table football are free for guests. The bowling alley can be booked by the hour at the concierge. The laundry facilities are coin-operated. The concierge is always on site and is paid by the owners. Additional services such as a bread rolls delivery service or bed linen hire are payable directly to the concierge. Please note: your apartment is on the ground floor, but owing to being on a slope there are two further apartments below it.

Zell am See is a good starting point for a tour of Grossglockner, a trip to the Schmittenhöhe or the Krimmler waterfalls half an hour away, or the city of Salzburg an hour away. The cable cars are a five-minute walk away, directly accessible on skis, and the descent from the Aberg ski resort leads directly in front of the door. You can walk to some restaurants and guesthouses. Some pharmacies and medical practices provide medical services in Maria Alm and Saalfelden, where you can also find a range of shops. The ski carousel is one of the largest in Austria, with pistes to suit all levels and many chalets inviting you to call in. For apres-ski there are also rustic chalets in Maria Alm, Hintertal and Saalfelden, where there are various skiing and snowboarding schools and ski kindergartens, one right by the house. There is a sledge run from Juffen (accessible by car also in winter) to Maria Alm. Some of the chalets and cable cars are in operation in summer. Nearby Saalfelden has a summer toboggan run and a swimming lake. The Salzburger Festspiele are also within easy access. There are homeland museums and a farmer’s theatre in the area.

    “Preis/Leistung hat für mich nicht zusammengepasst, vor allem sollte E Domizil klar und deutlich die noch anfallenden Nebenkosten dazuschreiben und nicht erst wenn man die Anzahlung getätigt hat und die Reiseunterlagen erhält und feststellen muss das noch mal über 200€ dazu kommen. Positiv: Das Bad war sehr schön. Toll ist auch das es 2 Toiletten gibt. Der Balkon war schön groß. Negativ: Das Elternschlafzimmer war nicht sehr schön . Im Schrank roch es alt und modrig.
    Es gab viel zu wenig Toilettenpapier für 5 Personen sollten in jeder Toilette je eine Rolle für die ganze Woche reichen. Restaurant: HotelRestaurant Hintermoos - Man wird sehr freundlich und nett empfangen.
    Das Restaurant bietet täglich 3 Menüs an, mit Suppe, Salat, Hauptspeise und Dessert, und das zu einem super Preis . Auch lädt die Wirtin ganz traditionell auf ein Schnaps‘erl ein. Das Essen schmeckt sehr sehr lecker. Salat kann man sich am Buffett holen, welches sehr vielfältig ist. Für jeden Geschmack ist was dabei.”

    “Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in Maria Alm (Hintermoos). Wir sind u.a. gewandert, haben eine Rafting-Tour auf der Saalach gemacht und waren baden im Zeller See. Rundum eine sehr schöne Zeit. Positiv: Der Swimmingpool im Haus hat mir sehr gut gefallen, sehr sauber. Negativ: Keine Beanstandungen.”

    “Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir haben einen entspannten Urlaub verlebt und kommen gern wieder. Positiv: Wir wurden herzlichst in Empfang genommen. Die Wohnung ist super und wir haben uns die Tage richtig wohl gefühlt. Negativ: Aufgrund Corona war leider das Hallenbad, die Sauna,... nicht nutzbar - SCHADE Restaurant: Wiesenstadl Maria Alm - direkt am Wander-/Skigebiet Aberg, gemütlich eingerichtet, gastfreundlich, leckere Speisen und Getränke Ausflüge: Prinzenberg Maria Alm - Möglichkeiten zum Wandern, Waldseilgarten, Schlossspielplatz, Waldrutschenpark,...”

    “typisch Oostenrijks ingericht appartement. ruime woonkamer met gezellige eethoek.
    twee ruime slaapkamers en een fijne badkamer. Woning is schoon.
    Onder in het appartementengebouw is een ruim zwembad met prachtig uitzicht.
    Om dingen te ondernemen ben je wel afhankelijk van de auto. Het complex ligt niet in de plaats zelf maar op ongeveer 10 auto min.
    De conciërge is erg aardig en behulpzaam.
    enige nadeel is dat bij dit compex de gastenkaart niet inbegrepen is. Hierdoor moet je iedere keer voor de lift betalen.”
