The house in a quiet location is situated about 300 metres from the sandy beach that is never overcrowded. It is on the edge of a nature reserve, on a kind of cul-de-sac at the end of the village, so you needn’t worry about traffic noise. There are just herds of sheep and goats that are driven past the house almost every morning, with little bells around their necks, the only sound interrupting the silence. This holiday apartment provides around 70m² of space, including two separate bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed, the other with two single beds and the possibility to add a supplementary bed. The modern living room includes an open, fully-equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils, along with a toaster, kettle and induction hob with an oven. The dining table invites you to dine together after cooking. The bathroom is fitted with a shower and WC. All the rooms were newly furnished in 2015 and provide everything you need. Should you nevertheless require anything then the owners are happy to help.
The whole site is a green oasis on the edge of a WWF nature reserve. The outdoor area comprises lawn, palm trees, a herb garden, citrus and other fruit trees that you can help yourself to, depending on the season. At the centre of the site there are the pool and ‘platia’. As all the bedrooms face away from the interior of the outdoor area, you can enjoy peace and quiet at all times. The sociable grill evenings are popular among guests, sometimes also with live music,
There are many trip and recreational possibilities, on land and on water, e.g. a minibus trip to places of historical interest. There are also various boat tours to the islands, as well as diving and snorkeling excursions or waterskiing, for those who would like to give it a try. Greece is also suitable for winter stays. The owners can organise various trips or sports activities for you. In spring and autumn there are hikes into the plains, as well as the nearby mountains, in some cases with overnight stays in a hut. The monasteries at Meteora, the Vikosgorge, the valley and the fountains at Gliki are all on the owners’ trip programme, or you can go on boat tours. From mid-April you can visit a gulf where encounters with dolphins are guaranteed, or Paxos, Levkada and beautiful coastal towns. Sailing enthusiasts will enjoy it here. You can charter boats with or without a skipper. Skipper training and waterskiing are available, as well as diving, with local equipment hire. You can dive to shipwrecks and go on guided diving excursions. You can go on guided cycle tours, whether on the flat or in the mountains, or into pristine nature with hardly any car traffic.
