The fjord offers good fishing conditions, and close to the house there are several good places to swim. Not far away there is a marina and a sport ground for soccer, tennis, and basketball. The surroundings are child friendly with play grounds nearby. In the localities there is a nice hiking terrain; take a trip to Espevær and Langevåg, and along the well-known North Sea Trail which leads to the cultural lighthouse Ryvarden with café & gallery. We also recommend an excursion to Sveio, Haugesund, Leirvik, and the whole Hardanger region.
