Charming Holiday House in Älvsbyn Municipality with Terrace, Barbecue and Garden

This spacious holiday house completely renovated in October 2015 is in Vidsel, only five kilometres from Storforsen, Sweden’s largest rapids. It is a terraced house on a residential estate.

The holiday house provides around 140m² of living space for up to eight people and comprises a very spacious kitchen on the ground floor, fully-equipped with a microwave, stove with a ceramic hob, a dishwasher, a toaster, a coffee machine, a mixer, a kettle and various small appliances. There is a big dining table. The living room provides a suite with a pull-out sofa bed for two people, a coffee table and a 42” TV including German channels, a Blu Ray player and a stereo system. The living room opens onto the veranda and the garden. There are also two bedrooms on the ground floor. One is furnished with a double bed (160 x 200cm), the other with a single bed (90 x 200cm). This room has direct access to a WC. Both bedrooms have big integrated wardrobes. There is also another bathroom on the ground floor with a shower and WC. The entrance area has a wardrobe. The ground floor provides direct access to the garage. The sauna newly built in October 2015 is also on the ground floor. There are two further bedrooms on the first floor, one with two single beds (90 x 200cm) and an integrated wardrobe, the other with a double bed (160 x 200cm) and a walk-in wardrobe, accessed from the hallway. There is a shower room next to it with a WC, completely newly built in October 2015. A cot and a highchair can be provided free of charge on request. It is also possible to use a supplementary bed or a sofa bed for two people, however the maximum number of guests is restricted to eight, for comfort. All the rooms can be heated and free wireless Internet access is available throughout the house.

The 475m² site is for your own exclusive use. There is lawn in front of and behind the house, with ample space for children to play. The big veranda looking out at the garden is ideal for relaxing after an exciting day. Garden furniture is provided. There are parking spaces for two to three cars in front of the house and there is a further parking space in the garage, accessible from indoors.

In winter there is the possibility of a snowmobile tour, a dog sledding tour, a snowshoe walk or to do a northern lights tour as well as ice driving. If you are interested, the owner will be glad to arrange these tours for you. In summer the owner rents bicycles and in winter he rents snowshoes.

There is a little playground only about 200 metres from the house. It is five kilometres to Storforsen, Sweden’s largest rapids, where you can find many grill areas and lovely spots to while away the time. The River Piteäly with a little sandy beach, where you can swim, as well as a volleyball court and a grill hut is a five-minute walk away. It is also only a five-minute walk to Vidsel, where you can do shopping (Tempo supermarket). It is 45 minutes to the ski piste with a lift and to cross-country skiing trails, of which there are more all around Vidsel. The Baltic Sea beach is 60 minutes away. The house is a good hour’s drive from Luleå airport. There are eight national parks in the area, ideal for hiking and day trips. You can go fishing in the River Piteäly, as well as various lakes nearby (also guided tours). You can go shopping in the three big towns of Luleå, Piteå and Boden.
