Visit Villa Lana, a family house in Osor, a town with unique spirit, where culture and history
interweave with the beauty of nature in a very charming way.
The house is located in a lovely flowery street, awarded the „Most beautiful island street“
title on more than one occasion.
Villa Lana is a three storey family home. Its 180 square meter size and a large garden make it an
ideal choice for two families, or a group of friends.
Six rooms, a kitchen, two bathrooms and a toilet, all equipped for a year round stay await guests.
Electric powered central heating and a fireplace secure the warmth and the atmosphere even on a
windy, colder day, rare as such days are in Osor, blessed with mild Mediterranean climate.
Two large living rooms are pleasantly cool even on hot, sultry days. Equipped with Mediterranean
style sofas, a desk, card table, satellite TV and WiFi connection, as well as a bamboo recliner
favored by all who indulge in afternoon naps, or siesta.
If you feel like sunbathing and catching a tan quickly, the first floor living room exits into a
flower clad terrace, ideally positioned to catch the rays. If it is a shade and coolness you crave,
a retractable sunscreen turns the terrace into a shaded oasis, perfect for reading sessions, or
cocktail sipping until sundown.
There are four bedrooms on the first and second floor. One with a king-size bed, the other three
with two single beds. Each floor has its own bathroom. There is also a toilet on the ground floor
and an extra shower in the garden.
The kitchen is large, spacious and lavishly equipped. It exits into a herb part of the garden,
offering an easy access to cooking ingredients, as well as a touch of inspiration.
Just reach through the window, or step into a garden and transfer the fragrant aromas of mint, basil, thyme, oregano, chives, sage or rosemary onto your plate.
The 340 square meter garden is surrounded by a high stone wall, offering a true sense of privacy to
the residents. Tiled terraces round the house, with deck chairs, a barbecue and a large dining table
beneath a wine pergola on one side. Table tennis on the other side of the garden might be
interesting to the recreation loving guests.
A lovely palm tree is the centerpiece of the green part of the garden, accompanied by lavender,
wisteria and tecoma bushes, an old olive tree, lilac, rose and many more sweet smelling flowers. In
the springtime, when the garden is in full bloom, the multitude of colors and fragrances is nothing
short of stunning.
Car parking is available 100 m from the house. Both available parking lots are free of charge.
