Welcome to a modern holiday home, situated in beautiful surroundings, with panoramic view towards the archipelago & the Selbjørnsfjord. In addition to the great view you can enjoy hiking trips through different types of terrain, swimming from the beach, and - not to forget - fishing in the fjord. Not far away you find the centre Fitjar with restaurants, stores, sport field, and play ground. Fitjar's historic heritage leads back to the Bronze Age and the so called "Battle of Fitjar". It is recommended to visit the Håkonar Park which contains Anne Grimdalen's statue of Håkon the Good, king of the Vikings. Visit Stord (only 30 minutes away) with shopping streets, swimming facilities, bowling, and a regional museum showing the region's history from prehistorical time, agriculture and farming. Take a day trip to the cities of Bergen and Haugesund.
