The villa combines the best of the historic and the modern, incorporating the walls of a nineteenth century farmhouse and clad in traditional stone with timbered vaulted ceilings. The building, which comprises 200 square meters (just over 2,000 square feet), has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (two full bathrooms with shower and one half bathroom).
On the ground floor, the comfortable living room has a wall of floor-to-ceiling glass doors showcasing the view of the lake, a dining room with stone fireplace and an updated kitchen complete with a dishwasher and an oven. There is a double bedroom on this level with en suite bathroom as well as an additional full bathroom.
On the second floor, two double bedrooms with a half bath adjacent each have a stunning view of the lake.
Villa Gia has private, off-street parking. It is only 800 meters (1/2 mile) from the local train station, Funivia Stresa-Alpino-Mottarone, which has frequent direct train service from downtown Milan. Malpensa Airport is 33 km (21 miles) from the property. Villa Pallavicino Zoological Park is 3.3 km (2 miles) away.
The area is quiet and sunny, ideal for who want a relaxing holiday.
The villa is built on the ruins of an old farmhouse of 1800, some remains of walls incorporated into the newly built and they still remember the old structure.
