Vacation apartment an elegantly furnished 130 sq. m. vacation apartment, perfect for or a family, is part of a small residential complex consisting of a villa and three annexes, set on terraced land cultivated with olives, lemons, apricots and typical Mediterranean vegetation.The apartment on the second floor of an old stone villa clinging to the cliff.The rooms are all spacious and bright, and the floors are covered in beautiful Vietri tiles, from each room there is a lovely view of either the valley or the sea.This apartment has its own terrace (20 square meters), and shared use of a swimming pool (61 steps to reach it). Enclosed parking space is available. From the car park to the entrance (33 steps), leading into a large living room with two single sofa-beds, that opens onto a fabulous large furnished terrace with table, chairs and deck chairs. One of the three bedrooms is double with en-suite shower room, and the other two are twins.One of the twin bedrooms has an en-suite shower room. The second twin bedroom has access to the terrace.Sitting here in the cool air, you will be in the very best place to enjoy the breathtaking panorama across the valley and Atrani, all the way out to the sea.The kitchen is equipped with a four-burner cooker, oven and refrigerator with freezer, electric kettle & toaster.The swimming pool built on its own terrace has good furnishing sun umbrellas and deckchairs. Lying around the pool, you will be able to enjoy a rich and strikingly unique panorama.Pool size : 13,50 m. per 4,50 m. - max. depth 1,45 m. - min. depth 1,25 m.S. Apartment is perched above the village of Atrani and just below Ravello, in the middle of the Amalfi Coast, Southern Italy.This refurbished Villa/Residence is perched on the hillside of Atrani, overlooking the fishing village and its beach.A five-minute drive (4 Km.) takes you to the town of Ravello or the nearest shopping area if driving.From the front gate of the Complex there are about 300 meters of narrow winding road down to the parking area, surrounded by lemon and olive terraces.The Sita bus stop (bus line Amalfi /Ravello approx every 20 minutes) is situated at 300 m. from the Residence entrance gate.From apartment there is access to the ancient trail connecting Ravello to Atrani. About 400 steps down to get to Atrani lovely little square surrounded by shops, bars, restaurants with outdoor seating and to the beach front. Once in Atrani it is possible to walk to Amalfi in 10 minutes.Tips: Usually guests walk down to Atrani / Amalfi and then catch the bus back to the property.The main bus terminal is Amalfi, where all the buses arrive and depart from here, connecting with Positano, Sorrento, Ravello, Salerno, Naples.From the docks in Amalfi you will also be able to board ferries and hydrofoils to Positano, Capri, Salerno or Sorrento Coast and Naples, as well as go on mini-cruises for tourists. You must indeed take a tour of the coast from the sea.If you are fond of archaeology, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Paestum are easily within reach, between 1 to 2 hours driving distance.There are several ways to get to Atrani Amalfi Coast from Naples Capodichino Airport or Naples / Salerno Train station either by renting a car or by public transport, but it can be a little complicated for first time visitors. Knowing the options and making your travel plans in advance will start your trip to Amalfi Coast off on the right foot.The property is located 27 km (16 miles) West of Salerno and 60 km (37 miles) South-East of Naples.From Naples Capodichino Airport to Atrani/Magnolia apartment it´s about a 90 minute drive.By Public transport it would depend on your arrival time at the airport/train station. See which option (Bus or Ferry) will suit you best.The easiest (and least stressful!) way to reach any destination on the Amalfi Coast from Naples airport or train station is to hire a taxi for a private transfer. While it might seem an extravagant expense, the advantages far outweigh the cost.Since public transportation on the Amalfi Coast is easy to use and affordable and parking is expensive and very limited, renting a car is not recommended in general.Please note: Our limousines and minivans will only drive you to the main gate of the complex, from there to your apartment, you will need to walk down between 100 m. and 300 m.Once at the property you can get around fine without the car as parking in the towns is hard to come by and expensive. Public Buses operate year-around connecting Ravello to Amalfi, where are buses to all the Amalfi Coast villages and Sorrento area. Ferries (from May to October) operate a service between Amalfi - Positano - Sorrento - Capri Island - Naples and Salerno.
