This is a stone house villa, built in the typical style of the island, with two comfortable holiday apartments on a 2000m² site, standing along on a slope with cypresses. It is surrounded by a blossoming garden and due to the elevated location on the edge of the locality you can benefit from a breathtaking panoramic view over the locality and the sea, as far as the mainland. The quiet location above the town of Lefkada on the island of the same name on the west coast of Greece, the comfortable house and the tasteful interior will make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. The island is connected to the mainland via a motorway bridge.

The two apartments are on the first floor and comprise 55m² and 60m² of living space, with both a shared and a private terrace. The apartment atraveo no. 1006880 of 60m² welcomes two adults and two children, while apartment no. 1006904 of 55m² is for up to three people. Both apartments provide a double room with a double bed, a generous, open living and dining room with an additional bed, a quality bathroom and a guest WC, and have similar furnishing and equipment, meeting the highest of standards for a relaxing holiday. They are fully furnished and feature Italian kitchens, parquet flooring, Turkish marble in the bedrooms and guest WC, XXL showers made by Grohe with a rainshower, an LCD TV (all international channels), an LG 5.1 DVD home cinema system, full HD TV with a USB port, HMI, MP§, DivX, DVD and CD player, and a radio for your own films and music. Both apartments have a new and very quiet air conditioning unit, but which is rarely needed due to the 52-cm-thick stone walls of the stone house. Oil central heating, WCs according to German norms (no dry toilets) and wireless Internet access are provided.

Outside there is a well-maintained Mediterranean garden on several levels, with a 15m² fish pond with Koi carp, goldfish and three water turtles, as well as a 16m² gazebo with comfortable lounge furniture. You can relax in the big hammock (4m)in a wooden frame in the garden or in two relaxing sun loungers. The outside area invites you to sunbathe or simply to enjoy the view. You can also enjoy meals outdoors and preparing them on a big, stainless steel gas grill and a big, traditional oven with a wooden bench in the courtyard. There are two modern, quality bicycles available for hire and there are four parking spaces right by the house on site. The panorama is characterised by a unique view of the sea, the town of Lefkada with its modern harbour, the lagoon (nature reserve with pelicans, flamingos), the Santa Maura castle and the mainland opposite.

The special features of this holiday accommodation include the services of a private cook: from breakfast with coffee or tea, to lunch and dinner, including water and wine, or candlelight dinners, everything is possible, even a birthday meal or a picnic in the mountains or on the beach at sunset. The cook will treat you to local specialities. The owner speaks German, Greek and English, lives on the ground floor and is happy to provide recommendations for trips and information about the island. There are folders with useful information about the island and good, well-priced tavernas right by the water. It is recommended to rent a car to explore the island. When booking you receive a link to a brochure about the island, a DVD about the island and many hiking ideas. The price includes weekly cleaning and change of bed linen and towels (in Juiy and August twice a week), and the final cleaning.

In the vicinity you can find a taverna, a supermarket about a kilometre away, awaiting your visit. The town centre of Lefkada with restaurants, cafés, restaurants and evening entertainment is 2.9km away. It is the same distance to the beach at Agios Yannis. The island is popular among tourists, but does not have the same mass tourism as other parts of the country. Many places have kept their original charm, especially the villages in the mountains.

Nice Holiday Apartment in Apolpena with Private Terrace and Unique View

This apartment comprises 55m² of living space with a bedroom with a double bed, a modern shower room, a guest WC, and a generous living and dining room with a sofa bed and an integrated kitchen. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed measuring 180 x 200cm, with bedside tables and reading lamps on either side. There is a spacious wall cupboard combination for storing your luggage, as well as a dresser. Next to the bedroom there is a shower room with a WC, a fully glazed XXL shower cubicle with a Grohe rain shower, a washbasin with an illuminated mirror and cupboard, a towels radiator for warming towels, a WC and scales. The hallway leads past the living room, with a fold-out sofa bed with a slatted frame (140 x 180cm) and a comfortable leather armchair, to the kitchen and dining room. The comfortable seating with a table invites you to sit together sociably in the evenings, with the full HD LCD TV with satellite channels and a 5.1 home cinema system with a CD and DVD player providing entertainment. The fully-equipped built-in kitchen unit enables convenient self-catering with a dishwasher, a four-zone ceramic hob with an extractor fan and an oven, a fridge and freezer, and all the standard small electric appliances, including a coffee machine, kettle and toaster. There is a separate laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. You can sit together at the modern bar table with bar stools for dining. The big windows opening towards the terrace and garden, affording a spectacular view of the town and the sea, the lagoon and the mainland, give the impression that you are on a ship. Please note that smoking is prohibited in the apartment.

The living room and the kitchen provide access to your section (14m²) of the big terrace with a view of the sea and the town. This terrace is also used by guests at the other apartment and is divided into two areas by two flower boxes. Enjoy meals outdoors with an electric Tappan Yaki table grill and a kafenion table, including comfortable seating. An awning (5 x 5 x 5m) provides shade on the terrace. There is also a private terrace, also measuring 14m², on the garden side with a view into the garden and towards the sea. It has a Royal Garden table and two comfortable chairs.
