Traditional, white farm house, recently converted to a holiday villa (2000)with a private pool, a traditional stone grill and panoramic views of the ocean from the roof terrace
This exclusive, white villa is quietly located outside of the quaint village of Boliqueime on Portugal's sunny south coast. It offers a relaxing holiday in a luxurious property.
The authentic stone farm house from the early 19th century was recently (2000) renovated and equipped with all modern amenities, including air conditioning (heating/cooling). The 250 m², two storey house boasts a living/dining room, a modern kitchen, three bedrooms and three ensuite bathrooms. The ground floor houses the living room, furnished with two cosy sofas, a coffee table, a flat screen cable television with a USB connection and a DVD and a CD player, a safe for your valuables and a wooden dining table and eight chairs. There is also a fireplace, offering a cosy atmosphere on cooler days. The adjacent black and white kitchen offers new appliances, including a ceran stove, an electric oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, a dishwasher and a coffee maker. There is a also breakfast bar with bar stools. The first two bedrooms are also on the ground floor: one of the bedrooms is furnished with a 140 cm x 200 cm double bed, while the second bedroom is furnished with two 90 x 200 cm single beds. All bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower, a sink with a vanity and a mirror, a hair dryer and a toilet. One of the bathrooms boasts a bathtub. A wide stone staircase leads from the living room to the second floor with the third bedroom and its ensuite bathroom. This bedroom offers a double bed (160 x 200 cm). The living room sofa bed can accommodate two additional guests (140 x 200 cm). A washing machine/dryer are also at your disposal and you also have access to a reliable, free, wireless internet connection. Towels and bedding are supplied and a child's cot is available upon request.
The upstairs bedroom has access to the roof terrace, from where you can enjoy stunning views of the ocean. The large glass doors in the living room open up to the private 6 m x 3 m pool with a stone steps for easy of entry, surrounded by plenty of sun loungers and a sun shade. . The patio with the traditional stone grill, a round glass table and chairs offer a nice setting for al fresco dining. A car is recommended; the property offers plenty of secure parking space.
Upon request and at a fee, the pool can be heated.
The house is about 3.5 km from Boliqueime with its shops, restaurants and cafes. It is only 750 meters to the nearest restaurant. It is about 6.5 km to the nearest beach, Praia de Falesia.
