    “Wir haben einen erholsamen Urlaub in dem idyllischen Dorf Vesterende Ballum verbracht. Die ruhige Lage und die Nähe zum Watt laden zu ausgedehnten Spaziergängen ein. Man kann zur Schleuse und zum Mühlenmuseum laufen. Die Insel Römö mit wunderschönen Badestränden und die kleine Stadt Skaerbaek mit Einkaufs- und Freizeitmöglichkeiten liegen nur 15 Autominuten entfernt.
    Empfehlenswert ist der Besuch des Oldtidspark Hjemstedt (Erlebnismuseum zur Eisenzeit) und des Kommandørgården auf Römö. Unsere Töchter waren absolut begeistert von einem Strandausritt! Die Wikingerstadt Ribe ist 30 Minuten und die Stadt Esbjerg mit dem sehenswerten Fischereimuseum 60 Minuten entfernt.”
