    “Im Dorfladen von Kalamaki konnten sämtliche Einkäufe getätigt werden. Die dortige Verkäuferin war sehr freundlich, so wie alle Bewohner der Insel, wie wir feststellen konnten.”

    “Kamilari ist für Individualreisende toll. Im Lebensmittelladen bekommt man wirklich alles, was man braucht. Es gibt viele kleine Tavernen mit tollem und nach unserer Auffassung typisch kretischem Essen. Sehr lecker. Wir haben dort keinen einzigen Reinfall erlebt. Gleiches gilt für das nahegelegende Pitsidia.
    Auch Matala ist sehenswert.
    Nicht so angetan waren wir von Kalamaki. Sehr touristisch und angepasste Küche.
    Viele Gebäude sehen nach Bauruinen aus. Aber der Strand ist wirklich schön und nicht überlaufen.”
