    “Drivenik zelf is niet veel. Een heel rustig dorpje in een vallei. Adembenemend uitzicht op de beide bergruggen met een kleine supermarkt, een postkantoortje en een café. Ideaal voor wie van rust houdt. De supermarkt heeft ’s morgens vroeg wel vers brood.
    Ongeveer 10 km verderop ligt Crikvenica, een leuk havenplaatsje waar echt van alles te doen is voor de doorsnee toerist. Ook een aantal grote supermarkten. De andere kant uit is het 25 minuten naar Rijeka, wat echt een stad is met alles erop en eraan, incl. een overdekte shoppingmall. Voor zwemmen, snorkelen en zonnen liggen Jadranovo en Crikvenica om de hoek.”

    “Es gibt vielfache Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Mit dem Auto ist man in 5 Minuten im nächsten kleinen Konzummarkt in Grizane. Essen gehen kann man in Cricvenika oder in dem u. E. schöneren Ort Novi Vinodolski. In Crivenika kann man flanieren und abends Party machen. Tagsüber die dortigen kostenpflichtigen Strände besuchen. Novi Vinodolski wirkt durch die Hanglage traditioneller und gemütlicher. Ein Besuch in Rijeker lohnt sich. Dort kann man gut Shoppen gehen und die Stadtgeschichte auf sich wirken lassen.
    Wassersport geht überall. Lohnenswert ist es, sich hin und wieder ein kleines Motorboot zu mieten. So erreicht man kleine schöne einsame Buchten. Wandern in den Bergen ist auch sehr schön. Viel Natur inkl. wilden Tieren und schöner Aussicht.”
