All the facilities developed here are for coastal protection. The marshlands of Vest Stadil Fjord and Nissum Fjord have rich birdlife. You can spot a variety of birds in autumn. There is a beach museum in Thorsminde, a small town with a population of 400. Here, you can also enjoy fishing on the pier or buy fresh fish. Many activities take place here in summer.
