Cosy holiday home in the historic quarter of Valldemossa, away from the mass tourism of Majorca

The holiday home was completely renovated in 2014. It is situated in the centre of the town, in a small and quiet street, and offers 100 m² of living space. Valldemossa is one of the most beautiful towns on the island of Majorca, located on a mountain range and overlooking a valley. There are no large hotel chains in this area so you can enjoy a quiet and exclusive stay and the impressive surroundings of the Sierra de Tramuntana. The Sierra de Tramuntana was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in June 2011.Through the front door, you will come directly into the cosily furnished living room that features a fireplace for cooler days, a sofa bed (sleeping area of 1.40 m x 2.65 m), a television with a satellite connection, and a stereo system. From here, you can access the fully equipped kitchen where you also have a stove, fridge, freezer compartment, coffee machine and microwave at your disposal in addition to a small dining table for meals together. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed (1.50 m x 2.00 m) and the other with a single bed (0.90 m x 2.00 m). The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower facility, a hair dryer, sink and toilet. In addition, a washing machine is also available for your stay along with free WLAN.Furthermore, the house has its own small inner courtyard, equipped with a table and chairs where you can round off the day relaxing, e.g. with a glass of wine. There is a public parking area nearby where you can park your car.The centre of Valldemossa is about a minute away on foot. There you will find everything you need to make your stay a comfortable and practical one. There is a supermarket, bakeries, pharmacies, banks, shops, bars and restaurants. There is also easy access to the surrounding hiking and biking trails and a playground for children. There is a restaurant on the "Puerto de Valldemossa" beach (6 km away), which is known for its excellent fish dishes. You can also go diving at the beach or simply refresh yourself in cool water. El Puerto de Soller is a beautiful place that has a large sandy beach on which you can take, inter alia, boat rides and pedal boats for rent. The airport in Palma is about 18 km away. The house is also a good starting point for excursions by car or on foot to explore the entire landscape of the Sierra de Tramuntana. The golf course of "Son Termes" is about 10 kilometres away. There are also public buses that will take you to Palma, Deia and Soller.It has the Balearic Tourism Council license to be rented as a holiday home.License number: L12E7668

    “Sehr schöne Wohlfühl-Ferienwohnung in der man sich, durch die zentrale Lage, fast wie ein Einheimischer fühlt. Obwohl mitten im Zentrum gelegen, ist es dort sehr, sehr ruhig. Die niedliche Küche ist mit Allem ausgestattet, die Wohnung ist sehr sauber. Die Vermieterin ist sehr zuvorkommend und bei allen Anliegen schnell zu erreichen. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub und würden diese Wohnung jederzeit wieder mieten.”

    “We were four adults and booked this object as a starting point for hiking tours in the Tramontana.

    The vacation offered all the things we needed (a well equiped kitchen, a nice living-room, TV and Wi-Fi). This is a lovely and quiet flat with a nice small atrium, usuable for breakfast etc. We apriciated the private atmospheare and calm suroundings.

    Macarena was very helpful. Before arriving, we had an extensive email exchange and we were prepared in the best possible way. During the stay she took care. The hospitality she offered was superb.”

    “We stayed in the house for 2 weeks with my two kids. The house has everything you might need. Comfortable beds, well equiped kitchen and a nice patio to enjoy our breakfasts and dinners. The house is in the centre of the village in a quiet street. The owner is very friendly and helpful. She is very easy to contact and always ready to help when you need her. We will come back for sure.”
