Sankt Andreasberg is one of the highest winter sports resorts in the Oberharz and offers everything a skier or snowboarder could wish for.

These houses with their own sauna are located directly on the slope. Enjoy the panoramic view of the beautiful landscape of the Oberharz. After a long day in the great outdoors, you can relax in your sauna, loosen up those tired muscles and simply enjoy the cosy warmth! In the spacious entrance area of the house there is a 'ski room' with storage facilities. There is also a wood-burning stove for cosy winter evenings.

The Matthias-Schmidt-Berg and the Sonnenberg are two of the most snow-sure ski areas in the Oberharz in the immediate vicinity of the holiday home. Here you will find pistes of all levels of difficulty for skiers and snowboarders - ambitious skiers can try out the steep slopes, families can enjoy the extensive, flatter runs and there are several ski and snowboard schools for beginners to try out their first turns under supervision.

Of course, Sankt Andreasberg also has a well-developed, 44km-long network of trails for cross-country skiing enthusiasts with easy, medium and difficult trails. Some of the circular trails run right past the holiday home village, so you can literally set off right from the front door - and at the end of the circular trail, happy but tired, you can relax in your cosy house in the sauna or in front of the fireplace just a few steps away from the trail. There is also a toboggan run here, which can also be used in the evening under floodlights. The romantic valleys and idyllic heights can also be explored on one of the many winter hikes with or without snowshoes that are offered in the village.

In the evening, you can make yourself really cosy in your holiday home. What could be nicer than sitting in front of the fire after a full day in the snow, enjoying the panoramic view of the beautiful mountain landscape of the Upper Harz and reflecting on the day?

In summer, you can spend cosy hours on your own terrace, which invites you to enjoy long sunbaths, barbecues or an extended breakfast with fragrant bread rolls.

Sankt Andresberg also offers countless sporting and recreational opportunities in summer: there is a long summer toboggan run nearby and the longest continuous mountain bike trail in Europe. White water trails are also close by. If you prefer something a little quieter, you can of course explore the beautiful Harz National Park on one of the many hiking trails. Whether it's the traditional cattle drive in June, the wild Walpurgis Night on 30 April or the famous Stag Calling World Championships in September - there's always something going on here.

The holiday park is car-free - each property has its own car park, which is located above the park. The path from the car park to the holiday home must be walked. The house is situated on a slope and can only be reached via a staircase (12 steps).

    “Prima, nieuw huisje. Alles aanwezig en brandschoon. Echter de serviceverlening liet te wensen over. De borg (200,- euro) moest contant betaald worden, dit kon niet met een creditcard of maestro bankpas! Ook had men de Swift-code van de bank nodig voor terugstorting van de borg. Maar die moesten we eerst achterhalen in Nederland. We konden dit de hele week niet inleveren wegens afwezigheid van de receptie. Ook al stond er dat ze om 16.00 uur aanwezig zouden zijn. De enige Nederlandse zender BVN op de TV, verviel de 2e dag door wijziging in de satelietontvangst (werd aangekomndoigd op de TV). Melding bij de receptie (toevallig zag ik de betrefffende man lopen) gaf geen resultaat, alles werd centraal geregeld en hij kon daar niets mee.
    De bijkomende kosten(energie en toeristenbelasting) voor een week, ondanks zuinig gebruik energie lopen toch nog aardig op, ca. 63,- euro voor 2 personen. Ligging van het huisje was fantastisch.     “Super Ausstattung: hochwertige Geräte (z.B.: Siemens-Küche, Bad; Samsung-TV, Bluray-Player, Anlage), Sauna, Fußbodenheizung. Wir hatten eine Randlage mit bestem Blick auf die Berge gegenüber, große Fenster. Der Preis war für die Nebensaison und die wenigen Unannehmlichkeiten wegen zurzeit noch laufenden Baumaßnahmen völlig in Ordnung. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.”
