But you can also take it easy and step out onto the pier for a morning dip in the water and enjoy the sun on the wooden deck.

Sunde, a picturesque coastal village, offers a variety of activities and excursions amidst breathtaking scenery. Hire a boat and enjoy the excellent fishing opportunities, whether from land or on the water. The village's long fishing tradition lives on in a historic fish butcher's shop with roots dating back to the 19th century.

For hiking enthusiasts, there are several marked trails in the lowlands and in the surrounding mountains. Families will appreciate the nearby playground and football pitch. Just a short drive away is Husnes, where you will find numerous facilities such as shops, restaurants and sporting activities, including golf, frisbee golf, tennis and beach volleyball.

Cultural highlights such as Halsnøy Monastery from the 12th century and Baroni Rosendal Castle from 1665 are also within easy reach. Nature lovers should not miss an excursion to Bondhusvatnet and Bondhusbreen, a foothill of the Folgefonna glacier. Day trips into the beautiful nature of the Hardangerfjord, including the famous Trolltunga and local farm shops, round off the offer.
