Welcome to Mallorca and Cases de Son Duc - these two clauses seem to be inextricably linked. The traditional quarry stone house dating back to 1901 tells the story of Mallorca. The rustic façade with brown persianas has been lovingly renovated with careful consideration for the preservation of the farmhouse; animals and tractors provide a rural flair. The house is characterised by an almost fairytale-like splendour, surrounded by purple bougainvilleas, vines, olive and citrus trees and cacti. The beautiful garden is omnipresent. You and your family or friends can really feel at home in this dreamlike, secluded place. An organically shaped pool, which is bordered by a surrounding terrace, also contributes to this. Here you can set up your loungers to relax and enjoy a long sunbath. Afterwards, you can prepare a delicious BBQ in the small but cosy outdoor kitchen with built-in barbecue. There are numerous outdoor seating areas from the covered dining area to the shaded lounge to the other scattered corners where you can enjoy your morning coffee or an aromatic glass of red wine and quietly end the day saying goodnight and quietly just with the sounds of nature.
The interior of Cases de Son Duc is also a place to linger, as the interior reflects the naturalness of the farmhouse, which was sustainably restored in 2000. Exposed quarry stone walls and solid wooden beams remain. The typical terracotta and ceramic tiles with intricate patterns in the kitchen and bathroom continue the antique charm. At the same time, special attention was paid to state-of-the-art comfort when selecting the furnishings. Your deliberately chosen self-catering holiday will be a real pleasure in the fully equipped kitchen. The furnishings are reminiscent of a practical Mallorcan country house, with a touch of antiquity and plenty of flair. Thanks to this atmosphere, you can enjoy your time in the general living areas. The bedrooms also ensure a restful night's sleep. With three bathrooms (one en-suite to the master bedroom on the upper floor), comfort is maintained. From the master bedroom, you can even access the patio area via an external stone staircase. The space is ideal for two families, even with four couples you can spend a harmonious time in such an environment. But be sure to explore the surroundings of this wonderfully secluded villa.

The medieval town of Artà is very tranquil with a pedestrian zone, pretty shops, small cafés with local colour and good restaurants. From the villa, you can reach the town on foot in approx. 40 minutes. Despite the absolute tranquillity, you are perfectly connected and can explore the surrounding area, which is characterised by small coastal towns such as Canyamel and Cala Millor. The lively Cala Ratjada with its active nightlife is also worth a visit, especially in the low season with its harbour promenade full of restaurants. For golfers, this region is a paradise - after all, Cases de Son Duc is located right between Capdepera and Canyamel Golf.
