Welcome!Our holiday home "Walter" Am Sonnenhof is located in a green and quiet district of Schmalkalden. In just 15 minutes you can reach the old town with its historic half-timbered houses, Wilhelmsburg Castle and the Old Market. There, quaint pubs - such as the Teichhotel and the Green Gate - and cosy cafés invite you to linger. Nearby you will also find wonderful hiking routes such as the Luther or Jakobsweg as well as the Schmalkalden circular hiking trail. If you're in the mood for sweets, you'll get your money's worth at the nougat and marzipan manufacturer Viba. The show factory in Vibapark can be reached by car in a few minutes.In our non-smoking holiday home there are bed linen and towels as well as a toaster, Senseo coffee pod machine, kettle, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher.The Schmidt family wishes you a relaxing stay.

Aufgrund der Lage kann man alle Ziele gut erreichen. Restaurants und Wanderwege können zu Fuß erreicht werden, für Oberhof und andere weitere Ziele kommt das Auto bei guter Infrastruktur zum Einsatz.
