This spacious apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a beautiful 17th century villa, a few kilometers from Feltre (12 km), and is built on the ruins of an ancient castle. From the castle, the villa has inherited the dominant position, so you can enjoy a beautiful view of the green valley and mountains, especially from the garden, pool and windows. The villa is part of a small hamlet with former barns and servants' residences and the church of Sant'Antonio, dating from the 15th century, where weddings still take place today, so that the gardens and barns of the villa often host celebrations and wedding dinners. This and another apartment are accessed via the entrance hall with marble staircase. The apartment is spacious, has 7 windows overlooking the garden and is therefore very bright. It has a large living room that can be uses as a dining room and is connected to the kitchen. From the living room you also have access to the bedrooms and the bathroom. The decor is a mixture of antique and modern elements. In the garden of the villa you will find corners to relax, as well as a gazebo and parasols, where you can enjoy a glass of the excellent wine of this region while the children refresh or play in the pool. The Belluno Dolomites National Park, with its many cycle paths and trails that meander through the mountains, is nearby and is a popular destination for cyclists and nature lovers. In summer, the lake of Santa Croce (40 km) is the paradise for water sports fans who can sail, wind and kitesurf here. The Corlo Lake is 25 km away, while the Mis Lake, with its spectacular waterfalls "La Soffia" and "Cadini del Brenton" are definitely worth a visit and are only 17 km away. Winter sports enthusiasts are spoiled for choice: the Palaghiaccio in Feltre and the endless ski slopes; The closest ski resort, with its many slopes, forests, places for freeride exploration with snowboard and cross-country ski trails, is the Monte Avena (13 km) and only a few miles further (about 30) is the Monte Nevegal, with numerous cross-country and ski touring trails. The property is also an excellent starting point to visit the beautiful art cities of Veneto: Treviso (63 km), Venice (100 km) and Vicenza (90 km). Do not miss the opportunity to taste the rich variety of food and wines of the region: Everywhere in the area you can eat very well, and from spring to autumn, there are a number of festivals dedicated to excellent local products.
