Holiday House in Sankt Veit Im Pongau with Generous Terrace and Extensive View

This is a renovated, 400-year-old farmhouse with a terrace and a balcony, which was recently totally gutted and completely renovated. The detached house enjoys a quiet location on the edge of the town centre, on a cul-de-sac without any through traffic, to the south of the Berchtesgaden Alps in a ski resort.

On the outside the house has remained almost unchanged, preserving its country flair. In the interior it is comfortably furnished and equipped to the latest standards, attaching importance to a cosy atmosphere, with solid wood furniture in a country house style and tiles with a natural wood veneer, offering you a relaxing holiday of the highest standards. You step into the hallway with a guest WC and stairs up to the four bedrooms on the upper floor. The ground floor has a generous living room-kitchen with a sofa, a spacious washroom with access to three walk-in showers and with windows. The upper floor has three double bedrooms with three comfortable double beds (all 180 x 200cm). The fourth bedroom is especially suitable for children and has two bunk beds, with plenty of space to play. There is a separate WC with a washbasin on the upper floor. You can access the balcony through a door from the hallway. The centrepiece of the house is the cosy living room-kitchen, with a pellets stove on the left and an open corner kitchen with a dining space further on. The fully-equipped kitchen provides a dishwasher, a fridge with freezer compartments, a four-zone hob with an oven, a microwave and a coffee machine, for extensive self-catering. The rustic dining space with a corner bench and an additional bench invites you to enjoy meals together. After a day trip you can relax on the living room sofa, while the wall-mounted flatscreen TV with satellite channels and a USB port provides entertainment. There are some spotlights in the ceiling recessed into the beams, and under-floor heating providing pleasant warmth throughout the ground floor. The upper floor is laid with parquet flooring and is heated with radiators.

The generous terrace provides seating, a grill and a children’s play corner with a swing and sandpit. Next to the house there is a mill that also dates back to the 17th century, which is no longer in use. Enjoy the extensive view of the picturesque mountain world from the terrace. There are parking spaces on site.

Your holiday residence is accessible by car all year round. It is a five-minute walk to the bus stop with connections to St. Johann/Alpendorf to the ski resort (Sportwelt Amade). It is about a ten-minute walk into the centre, with shops and gastronomy awaiting your visit. The abundant nature in the surroundings is ideal for hiking or a skiing holiday. A tennis court and a swimming pool are just a kilometre away.

    “Ein wirklich schönes Objekt in einer schönen Landschaft. Man kann hier super Urlaub machen. Wir können erholt wieder neu starten. Positiv: Das Haus war sehr schön. Es war alles vorhanden, was man auch zu Hause hat. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, dass man gut schlafen konnte. Man konnte sich wirklich gut erholen vom Alltagsstreß. Einfach mal die Seele baumeln lassen. Vom Haus aus konnte man schöne Wanderungen machen, manchmal auch nur einige Kilometer mit dem Auto fahren zum Ausgangspunkt der Wanderung. Unsere Ansprechpartnerin war stets bemüht und hilfsbereit .”

    “Heel mooi, superschoon en groot vakantiehuis! Van buiten mooie oude boerderij, van binnen modern huis van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij hebben iedere morgen kunnen ontbijten op het zonnige terras, met prachtig uitzicht. Huis ligt aan een heel rustige weg net buiten het dorp. Bakker en kleine supermarkt in het dorp met ruim assortiment. Nette barbeque standaard aanwezig. Supervriendelijke verhuurders! In de hal liggen folders van aktiviteiten in de omgeving. In de omtrek genoeg te doen. Wij waren met 2 tieners en hebben een bergtocht gewandeld in de buurt van het huisje, gezwommen in Zell am See, naar de sneeuw in Kaprun, quad en kart gereden in Viehhofen, Kitzlochklamm in Taxenbach. Alles binnen 40 minuten met de auto. Wij waren er een week, maar er is nog veel meer te doen. Wij hebben een supervakantie gehad!! Zeker een aanrader!!!”
