Willkommen im Herzen des Thüringer Waldes! Unser Feriendorf Bad Hundertpfund liegt idyllisch, sonnig und ruhig mitten im Wald, ca. 1,5km außerhalb von Großbreitenbach (Staatlich anerkannter Erholungsort, UNESCO Biosphärenregion). Wir verfügen über 9 Häuser unterschiedlicher Größe (eines davon behindertengerecht), bestens geeignet für Familie und Gruppen. Großzügige, modern und komfortabel ausgestattete Ferienhäuser für 1-9 Personen- Das Haus Typ B verfügt über 96qm, 2 Schlafzimmer, voll ausgestattete Küche, Bad mit Dusche/WC und Badewanne, sep. WC, Wohn-Esszimmer, zwei Balkone, TV-Sat, Radio, Gas-Zentralheizung, Waschmaschinen- und Trocknerbenutzung im Haupthaus (gegen Gebühr), Haustiere auf Anfrage, PkW-Stellplätze, großer Lagerfeuerplatz, Grill- und Sitzmöglichkeiten im Garten, auf der Spiel- und Liegewiese. Die Preise richten sich nach Haustyp (Typ A, Typ B Typ C), Anzahl der Personen und Saisonzeit.
Die sehr ruhige Lage mitten im Wald, eingebettet in mehrere Bachläufe, Pilzwälder und Kräuterwiesen, ist ideal als Ausgangspunkt für erholsame Wanderungen, herausfordende Mountainbiketouren und Skilanglauf, fern ab vom Alltagsstress. Zum legendären Rennsteig, dem längsten Höhenwanderweg Deutschlands sind es ca. 8km. In unmittelbarer Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche Wanderwege, gespurte Loipen und gewalzte Skiwanderwege in landschaftlich reizvoller abwechslungsreicher Streckenführung. Auch der nächste Skiabfahrtshang (mit Skiausleihe und Skischule) liegt nur ca. 5 km entfernt. In der Region bieten außergewönliche Attraktionen wie Burgen, Schaubergwerke (Feengrotten), Glasbläsereien, Tiergärten oder Sommer- wie Winterrodelbahnen ganz besondere Erlebnisse. Außerdem sind zahlreiche sehenswerte Städte wie Ilmenau, Erfurt, Weimar, Jena, Oberhof oder Coburg innerhalb ca. einer Autostunde erreichbar.
