De verhuurder stond altijd paraat om ons wat extra informatie te geven over wat er te zien is in de omgeving, waar we lokaal lekker konden eten. Ook, het huisje zelf en het zwembad konden ons zeker bekoren. Slechts 1 min puntje: we hebben lichte gordijnen in de slaapkamer. Voor ons geen probleem, maar misschien wel als je eens wil uitslapen.”

    “Das Anwesen auf Quinta Velha ist wunderschön. Großer Garten, schöner Pool mit Liegestühlen und Sonnenschirmen. Das Haus, sowie die Küche, sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Kühlbox sowie Kühlelemente sind vorhanden. Die Vermieter haben und sehr herzlich begrüßt. Der Kühlschrank war bereits mit dem nötigsten gefüllt, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Nach einer Woche wurde die Bettwäsche gewechselt. Wir wollten uns nochmals bedanken für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.”

    “Wir haben unseren Urlaub auf Quinta Velha sehr genossen - Toll ausgestattetes und großzügiges Appartement in einem alten Bauernhaus, küchenmäßig alles da - beginnend mit einem umfassenden "Welcome-Package" mit Mineralwasser, Limonaden, Bier, Wein, Brot, Butter, Käse, Schinken... das die sehr umsichtigen und bemühten Besitzer Yvonne und Eddy am Ankunftstag zur Verfügung stellen (und auch sonst viele Wünsche von den Augen ablesen). 2 Badezimmer, liebevolle portugiesisch-rustikale Möblierung und ein wunderschöner, gepflegter Garten mit einem erfrischenden (wenn auch nicht extrem großen) Pool, 2 große Terrassen. Die Ferienwohnung liegt zwar einige Kilometer im Landesinneren in einer kleinen Ansiedlung von relativ neuen Ferienhäusern - Auto deshalb unbedingt erforderlich - dafür herrscht nachts absolute Ruhe, ein absolut klarer Sternenhimmel, viel frischer Kräuterduft und man ist fernab vom Touristentrubel der Algarve-Hochburgen; insgesamt auch gut kindergeeignet - auf dem Anwesen leben außerdem zwei sehr gutmütige und kinderliebende Haushunde.50”
