This apartment, registered as Local Lodging in Turismo de Portugal under the no. 2237/AL, is only 15 minutes away from the airport and at a short walking distance from the Santa Apolónia international train and metro station, where there are also bus stops (including the Sightseeing bus) and a supermarket.

Located on the 4th floor of a traditional building without lift, this one bedroom apartment with a double bed in the bedroom and a double sofa-bed in the living room, is suitable for up to 4 guests. The door to this cosy and well furnished property opens out to the spacious and air-conditioned living area, where there are comfortable sofas, tables, chairs and a TV cabinet which accommodates the stereo equipment, DVD, cable TV, Wi-Fi Internet router and books, films and other items. The bedroom is accessed from the living room and has a comfortable double bed with sheets included and anti-allergic pillows and mattress, reading lamps and bedside tables and plenty of wardrobe storage for clothes and other belongings. The large windows have blackout blinds and open on to the terrace, which runs along the full length of this side of the house. At the other side of the house we find the bathroom and the kitchen. The bathroom is clean, modern and includes a full bathtub with incorporated shower unit, washbasin, mirror and bidet, as well as storage for a hair dryer, first aid and your personal items. A complete set of towels is also provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee maker, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, blender and even a fire extinguisher, plus all the necessary cooking utensils for a worry-free self-catering stay. The back door opens out on to an utility room with a washer dryer, a iron & ironing board and a baby cot & high-chair, along with plenty of space for storage.

This bright and colourful living room has wooden floors and wide sliding glass doors at one end, which give easy access to the marvellous terrace with its truly spectacular views to the Tagus River. The terrace is covered in artificial grass and has a long bench along its wall allowing you to sit outside and marvel at the wonderful sights. Thanks to its garden furniture - tables, chairs and several pillows, as well as a large parasol, you can easily eat outside here.

Situated within the limits of the historical city center, on a street with one way where you may park freely, the environment around the apartment is quiet and traditional. Within 100m of the apartment you will find a grocery, a pharmacy, an optician, restaurants, cafés and other small shops. From here it is possible to talk to the typical neighbourhoods of Alfama and Graça and visit plenty of nearby popular sites, such as:
- Panteão Nacional (National Pantheon), one of the most representative examples of Baroque architecture, built on an octogonal floor plan centred on a Greek cross with the arms rounded in the style of Bramante;
- Monastery of São Vicente de Fora, a sixteenth century church and monastery with a Renaissance façade which has in its cloisters a series of interesting

    “Ruim schoon appartement. Goed uitgerust. Prachtig uitzicht over de Taag. Mooi ruim balkon.
    Er was maar een minpuntje: de knop op de stortbak van het toilet functioneerde niet. Maar, volgens de eigenaar zou dit worden gerepareerd.
    Prima restaurantje in dezelfde straat: Crisfama. Geweldig eten en mensen!”

    “Die Wohnung ist hell und hat eine große Dachterrasse mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf den Tejo. Sie liegt nur wenige Minuten vom Bahnhof und der Bushaltestelle (735, 728, 759) entfernt. Auf der Dachterrasse befinden sich Korbmöbel, so dass man bei entsprechendem Wetter den Abend dort gemütlich ausklingen lassen kann.

    Die Wohnung war sauber. Die Küche gut ausgestattet, allerdings schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. WLAN-Empfang vorhanden. Satelliten-Anlage ging, ein deutscher Sender wäre schön gewesen.

    Die Wohnungsübergabe war unkompliziert und herzlich. Ebenso die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter, der überaus bemüht ist. Die Wohnung hat ein gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.”

    “Wohnung schön gelegen mit Terrasse zum Tego, etwas weiter vom Zentrum Baixa/Chiado. Wohnung war sauber, Küche gut ausgestattet, wir haben uns dort wohl gefühlt.Verbesserung: Fernseher mit Satellitenanlage soll eingeschaltet sein, lange probiert. Mit welcher Buslinie man vom Zentrum zur Wohnung kommt (Linie 735)!”
