Holiday flat, São Martinho do Porto

Tasteful holiday home with spacious terrace just 300 meters from the Atlantic Ocean. Thanks to its location on a hill, the 800 square meter large garden house offers a partial sea view in a quiet holiday area. The seaside resort of São Martinho do Porto is beautifully situated in a sheltered, shell-shaped bay with close access to the Open Atlantic Ocean and is especially popular with families.

Activities in the area: The town is divided into two parts, a lower and a higher part. In the higher part, the facho falls on, once the highest point of the Portuguese coast. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the entrance to the bay. Not far away there are different pine forests that invite a walk. In the lower part of the city are the beach and the quay, as well as many small cafés. In the city center you definitely have to visit one of the many seafood restaurants that you can dine outside. Also visit the tourist and fishing village of Nazaré, a few kilometers north, with its wide sandy beaches and the city of Caldas da Rainha, known for its thermal springs and characteristic pottery.

    “Das Objekt an sich ist groß und geräumig. Die Lage recht ruhig mit schönem Blick auf die Bucht. Die Ausstattung ist gut, alles ist vorhanden, was man zum selbst versorgen braucht. Persönlich sehr gestört hat, dass alles im Haus sehr muffig war. Die Schränke von Innen, die Handtücher und auch das Bett nebst der Wäsche. Alles hat sehr unschön gerochen. Die Ausstattung (Mobiliar) war zum teil optisch herunter gewohnt und insgesamt war der Empfang etwas lieblos. Keine Pflanzen auf der Terrasse, nicht mal Müllbeutel in den Eimern bzw. einen Krümel Salz im Schrank.     “Das Haus hat eine tolle, ruhige Lage mit Blick auf die Bucht. Es ist groß und schön geschnitten. Die Küche ist relativ gut ausgestattet. Lediglich die Sauberkeit im Bad und z.T. in der Küche ließen etwas zu wünschen übrig. Generell können wir diese Wohnung definitiv weiter empfehlen.”
