Our house is situated at the outskirts of the small village Roth in natural surroundings. You reach the forest in 2 min. and the section "Hillesheim-
Gerolstein" of one of Germany's top hiking trails, the "Eifelsteig", is nearby.
We renovated the basement of our house in 2014/15 and established the new holiday flat "Wald und Wiese" ("Forest and Field"). It is accessible
from ground level and convenient for challenged people.

With love and dedication we renovated the apartment (65 sqm) on the lower floor of our house at the outskirts of the small village Roth.
You enter the apartment, which occupies 2 adults or a small family, from ground level. It has its own terrace and a parking space right next to the entrance.
The separate, newly fitted kitchen has a cosy dining corner with a corner bench.
Kitchen appliances including baking oven, dishwasher and microwave are ready to use.
The living room, which is open to the sunroom, offers a wood-burning stove, a round table with two comfortable chairs, satellite TV with Radio and a shelf full of books and board games.
From the sunroom you reach the terrace and the lawn. It is wonderful to sunbathe in the grass but of course we have garden furniture and a parasol at your disposal. Why not have a barbecue in the newly designed fireplace?
From the bedroom with double bed you enter the walk-in wardrobe with small digital safe.
Just let us know if you need a cot, a baby chair or a baby tub.
The pull-out couch in the living-room can also be used if you are three or four people.
The bathroom including toilet has a walk-in shower. Don't worry about bringing your own towels or hair-drier - a first set of towels is included and a hair-drier ready to be used.
A grounded adaptor will make sure your appliance with a plug from Australia, China, Denmark, India, the Middle East, Israel, Italy, North America, Russia (4mm), Switzerland, Brazil, the United Kingdom or Hong Kong should fit the sockets.
Make sure your appliance is capable of operating on a voltage of ~230 V.
If you have any other needs or wishes, just let us know.
Please leave your pets at home. They are not allowed in the flat.

Note on the guest contribution: To promote regional tourism, overnight guests in accommodation establishments in the municipality of Gerolstein have been paying a guest contribution of 0.75 euros per person per night since 1 January 2024. Children aged 0-5 and business and educational travellers are exempt from this fee.
The guest contribution is not included in the booking price, it is collected separately by the accommodation and forwarded to the Gerolstein municipality.
