The holiday home Glärnisch Blick is located in Engi, canton Glarus, Switzerland. The skiing area of Elm is 7 minutes away. You can easily get there with your own car or by bus, which is a 1-minute walk away. To Braunwald you drive in 20 minutes by car. 

Location: secluded with stunning views, no steps, 3 private parking spaces.

Layout: Downstairs: hall, kitchen with dining area (4p.), refrigerator, freezer, stove, dishwasher and wood stove. Living room in three parts, living room, dining room and side room. They are connected to each other. In the rear part: 2 sofas and 2 chairs, large television and bookcases with all kinds of books. In the middle part: dining table with space for 8 people. In the side part: separate small (game / DVD) television and sofa. Hallway, utility room with kitchenette, washing machine and tumble dryer and plenty of space for hanging / drying ski clothes, bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. The floor can be reached along 2 different stairs / sides. Long landing, 4 bedrooms: bedroom with double bed, desk, bedroom with double bed and wardrobe, bedroom with double bed and single bed, closet. bedroom between landing and bathroom with double sofa bed. Bathroom with toilet, bath, washbasin and shower.

Laube for drying laundry and outdoor / indoor sitting.
Heating: wood-burning stove and electric heating.
Outside: terrace, garden, 3 parking spaces and a beautiful view with the sound of cow bells!

    “Positiv: genügend Platz Negativ: Die Sauberkeit in der Küche liess zu wünschen übrig. Die Betten mussten selber bezogen werden, was wir bis jetzt noch nie mussten und die Duvet-Bezüge mussten wir zusammensuchen. Der TV funktionierte nur mit WIFI und blieb oft im Standbild. Die Kaffeemaschine war nicht sauber. Die Terrasse war voll mit Unkraut.”

    “Wir waren zwei Familien mit vier Kindern von 2 - 6 Jahren, die Grösse des Hauses war ideal und die Kinder fanden die verschiedenen Räume und Treppen super spannend zum Spielen. Der Ofen in der Wohnstube war viel wert. Negativ: Leider wurde das Haus nicht vorgeheizt, so war es eiskalt und sehr ungemütlich als wir anreisten.”

    “Wir haben uns in diesem stilvollen Domizil sehr wohl gefühlt und können es bestens weiterempfehlen. Positiv: Sehr ruhige Lage, grosszügige, gepflegte Räumlichkeiten, die sehr bequem und geschmackvoll eingerichtet sind. Die Küche ist sehr gut und komplett ausgestattet. Sehr modernes und geräumiges Bad. Tolle Aussicht in die Berge und auf schöne Wasserfälle. Unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe und -Rückgabe. Negativ: Die Treppen in das obere Stockwerk sind etwas eng und steil. Ausflüge: Wanderung ab Elm zur Tschinglen-Alp - Durch die bizarre Tschinglenschlucht auf die Tschinglen-Alp mit Alpenblumen-Lehrpfad. Diverse Wanderungen von diesem Punkt aus möglich.”
