The Casa Ghiggi is a typical Ticino style house at a sunny and quiet location, with a nice view over the lake (Lago Maggiore) and the surrounding mountains. It features a spacious planar garden with seasonal heated swimming pool 4x8m (ca. mid-April to mid-October), jacuzzi and sauna (minimum age for both: 12 years), arbour with granite table and benches, large barbecue grill, deck chairs, parasols, outdoor shower as well as a small children's play area. In the basement, our guests can find a broad selection of children toys as well as a workout and playroom (fitness machines/darts/table tennis/games). By foot, you reach the village (shops, post office, banks, bus station) and the lake in less than 10 minutes. Washing machine and dryer can be used for a small fee.

The two-room apartment "Ticino" is located on the 1st floor of the Casa Ghiggi and has received 4.5 stars from the local tourist office. The apartment with 3 beds measures approx. 50m2, features two balconies and is well-equipped. One covered parking space (2.5m high) is located in front of the house. In the kitchen, our guests will find a big refrigerator, a cooking-range, a baking-oven/steamer, a dish washer and a coffee-machine. In the dining-living room there is a table with chairs, sofa, tile stove, digital satellite TV and radio as well as WiFi. In the bedroom, there is a double-bed and a cot (for the 3rd guest). The feather-beds are 160 x 210cm. In the bathroom, there is an over-bath shower, toilet, a wash-basin and hair-dryer. Both balconies feature tables, chairs and awning. The non-smoking apartment is suitable for a maximum of 3 guests.

The Casa Ghiggi obtained the label “family friendly” from the local tourist office. On request, we offer a wide range of equipment for infants (cot, high chair, buggy, changing table, toys). The recreation room with some fitness machines is also equipped with table top football, darts, Nintendo game console with a few computer games as well as a selection of DVDs.

    “Agréablement surpris par l'appartement. Nous nous attendions à quelque chose de plus petit plus serré et bien c'est tout le contraire que nous avons constaté à notre entrée. Tout est bien agencé et il ne manque rien. La propriétaire était présente aussi pendant notre séjour une personne très disponible et très sympathique elle nous a même offert deux jours supplémentaire gratuitement mais malheureusement nous devions rentrer because... animal ! Cet endroit est vraiment génial et nous pouvons le recommander sans problème. Merci pour cette merveilleuse période estivale trop courte mais super agréable qui nous a permis de connaître un peu mieux la région. Encore merci pour cette offre et qui sait...? Positiv: L'emplacement la vue le calme Negativ: Aucun”

    “Alles Top!! Wir werden wieder kommen. Positiv: Die Wohnung ist perfekt!! Mit allem ausgestattet, es fehlt an gar nichts.
    Wohnung und Umgebung sehr saube!!
    Und sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Negativ: Die Lage mit Hund nicht so ideal, da nirgens in der Umgebung Grünflächen vohanden sind,
    wo der Hund sein Geschäft erledigen kann”

    “Tolle Ferien in angenehmer ruhiger Umgebung mit atemberaubender Ausssicht. Viel Privatsphäre und grosszügige Ausstattung in allen Zimmern. Positiv: Sehr sauberer Wellness-Bereich. Wohnung ist sehr grosszügig ausgestattet. Negativ: Das Duschrollo über der Badewanne ist unbrauchbar. Schwierig zu bedienen und tropf einen voll wenn geöffnet :-(.
    Kein Reinigungswerkzeug für den Schwedenofen vorhanden. Ausflüge: Campo Vallemaggia - Abgelegenes kleines Bergdorf mit vielen Möglichkeiten für Bergsport in Abgeschiedenheit.”
