Magnificient View.  Quiet location.Detached house with open view on Eiger north face.1100 m above sealevel; (Village plan: E 20. Coord. 644.225/ 164.520).
The house is about 2-4 km from the ski-lifts and the other touristic installations. (2 km from Grindelwald station and Scheidegg train ; 3 km from First ; 4 km from Männlichen cable  lift). During the winter season there is a „ski-bus“ to  these installations that stops near the house, in front of the small grocery store. Parking for two or three cars.
Ideal fort two families.  Room for 7–9 persons. 7 ½ rooms on one level (3 double, 3 single, living-room, kitchen/dining-room (fridge, dish-washer), bath/WC and sep. WC. 125 m2. Non-smoking. Rustic style furniture. Telephone. Spacious terrace.

    “Alles in allem eine wirklich gelungene Unterkunft, nach unseren Vorstellungen zumindest. Positiv: Ein nettes nostalgisches Chalet mit Charme und sehr viel Ausstattung in der Küche sowie Handtüchern und Bettwäsche. Für eine grosse Familie, Gruppe sehr gut geeignet. Die Lage einfach wunderschön, Berner Oberland eben! Die Aussicht aus jedem Zimmer traumhaft. Negativ: Nichts! Restaurant: Hotel Wetterhorn Gletscherstübli - Lage direkt am Wetterhorn, mit Gartenlokal, sehr freundlich und Preis/Leistung völlig in Ordnung auch für deutsche Urlauber, die teure Frankenpreise ertragen müssen. Ausflüge: Isenflu - Wunderschöne Aussicht im Lauterbrunnen Tal auf 2000 m Höhe und kaum Touristen.”

    “Positiv: het uitzicht vanaf het balkon prachtig is, en dat de inrichting van het chalet bij onze smaak past. Wanneer men een moderne inrichting prefereert, dan is dit chalet, zonder Wifi of tv en met zeer oud maar comfortabel meubilair, niet geschikt.”

    “Positiv: Original alt eingerichtet. Sehr nostalgisch. Bus Nr.124 vom Bärenplatz in 10 Min.direkt beim Haus.( 10 m) kl. Lädeli bim Haus. Kleine, gute Spülmaschine. Schöne Aussicht auf grossem Balkon. Sehr ruhig.”

    “Sehr empfehlenswert für eine Grossfamilie oder zwei Familien. Positiv: Ausserordentliche Lage mit unverbauter Sicht auf den Eiger. Chalet mit viel Charme. Terrasse mit Nachmittagssonne. Gute Anbindung an den öffentlichen Verkehr Negativ: Kein passender Tisch und zu wenig Stühle für die Terrasse. Restaurant: Luna Piccante - Wilderswil. Gutes Preis-Leistung Verhältnis. Ausflüge: Grindelwald First - Wanderung an den Bachalpsee, First, Flyer, Trottinet-Talfahrt.”

    “Preis-Leistung ist nicht optimal. Lage des Ferienhauses ist gut, Ausstattung veraltet. Positiv: Die vielen Zimmer lassen eine individuelle Belegung durch die Feriengäste zu. Negativ: Die Ausstattung ist ein Sammelsurium aus verschiedenen Epochen. Das Licht dürfte etwas heller sein. Der Garten müsste entwildert und neu angelegt werden. Die Küche ist bei Vollbelegung zu eng.”
