The Katschberg is located in the border area between Salzburg and Carinthia and is easily accessible by car. The highway leads to the foot of the Katschberg. The cottage are next to the ski slope.So the hiking or ski fun starts right at the hut.
The center of Katschberghöhe with shops, bars and restaurants is within walking distance. The villages St. Michael and Rennweg can be reached by car in a few minutes.
All alpine huts were built in typical local architecture and adapt almost perfectly to nature. The interior design has also placed great emphasis on a combination of country-style living and comfort.
The cottage village Katschberg is accessible by car all year round and there are sufficient parking spaces available. In Almdorf Katschberg pets are welcome.

The summer in the region of Salzburg/Carinthia offers everything one’s heart could wish: endless Hiking and Biking tours (Mountain bike rental possible), Fishing, Horseback riding, Tennis (100 m), the Carinthian lakes (20 km) or an excursion to the town Salzburg (1 hour’s drive). Summer program: archery tournaments, Pony- and Donkey Riding, Climbing. Big Skating park, guided tours, bread baking courses, visit of an original cheese fabrication and a visit in a gold mine. The heated outdoor pool centre Rennweg lies in a magnificent green area and provides Minigolf, Table Tennis, a children’s playground and a small kiosk. Golf court 10 km.
