Luxury one bedroom apartment close to the sea The apartment is situated in one of the country's most beautiful and best preserved Regency crescents. The crescent occupies an elevated sea front position with views across Tor Bay. The area where the crescent is located is Meadfoot. It is close to Torquay town centre and is a wonderful leafy residential area. Torquay itself is a superb all year round destination and is at the very heart of the English Riviera in the very south west of the United Kingdom.



The apartment overlooks the rear of the crescent so it doesn't have sea views. However, it benefits from double aspect windows which means it is always flooded with light. It has the feel of a tucked away hideaway and is superbly private. The apartment is duplex in configuration. The apartment's entry level is on the first floor of the building. Here there is a luxury bathroom with spa bath and shower over. On the floor above is the remainder of the apartment. This includes a super light and bright open plan living space. Here there is a sofa and arm chair and modern amenities such as a flat screen TV and a music system that can blue tooth music from your mobile device. Free WIFI is available here too and there is also a telephone that will accept incoming calls. One section of the space is dedicated to a dining area. The apartment has a compact but incredibly well equipped kitchen. Here guests will find a full sized fridge/freezer, a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee maker and much more. For guests who prefer to dine out a recommended restaurant list is provided by the owners. The apartment also features a spacious bedroom with a comfortable double bed. The room has a superb amount of storage space and is wonderfully peaceful. The apartment has its own allocated parking space at the rear of the property. In the centre of the crescent is the Osborne Hotel and guests at the apartment are able to use the leisure facilities (indoor pool and gym). Extra charges do apply - these can be obtained directly from the hotel reception.



The crescent is one of the best preserved and best maintained in the entire country. It occupies an elevated position over looking Tor Bay. The crescent sits in well maintained grounds and gardens. There are also nearby bar and restaurant terraces from the Osborne hotel where guests of the apartment can dine. Meadfoot beach, which was once a favourite of Agatha Christie's is just seconds away.

The crescent is located in Meadfoot Bay where there are a number of sandy beaches plus pebble beaches and rocks. At Meadfoot beach there is a cafe which is open all year round every day except Mondays and Tuesdays. The South West Coastal Path passes through the area and there is some stunning coastal scenery very close at hand. Torquay harbour and town centre are a fifteen minute walk away. A high frequency bus service operates just outside the gates to the crescent and this takes passengers to the centre in about seven minutes.
