Finsterbergen enjoys a convenient location amidst the unique cultivated landscape of Thüringen, the green heart of Germany, right by the Rennsteig. The nearest train station in Friedrichsroda is about 6km away and the motorway A4 is just 15km away. The accommodation is in a quiet location right by the spa zone and to the rear by the edge of the forest with a panoramic view of the picturesque cliff wall.
It is a cosy and harmoniously furnished, non-smoking holiday apartment of around 100m² for 2-6 people, with the possibility of supplementary beds for small children. It has a living room with a sofa bed, two bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a bath, a shower and WC, a second WC, as well as Wi-Fi Internet access and satellite TV.
There is a large balcony. Right by the accommodation there is a big park-like garden site with a campfire area, castle ruin and wood-burning oven, a grill area, pond with a stream, sitting areas and a lawn for relaxing. You can park your car free of charge next to the accommodation.
Further services are available on request, such as a bread rolls service, grilling and baking evenings, bicycle hire, jeep safari to the Rennsteig etc.
