Detached natural stone house with a view of the lake, a private pool and a garden
The detached and listed natural stone house is in the centre of Guardea, in the Umbria region. It is central, but is quietly situated as it stands alone, offering absolute privacy.
The house provides 180m² of living space on two floors and can accommodate six to nine people. The ground floor consists of a big living room with a fireplace, sitting corner and TV, a bathroom with a shower and a spacious kitchen including an oven, fridge, freezer compartment, dishwasher and gas stove. There are three bedrooms on the first floor: the master bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200cm) and a bathroom with a bath, along with a terrace, and two further bedrooms each with a double bed (180 x 200cm and 160 x 200cm) and a shared bathroom with a shower. An armchair bed with a slatted frame (80 x 200cm) can be provided free of charge for each of the bedrooms.
The house has a garden for your own exclusive use. The gazebo provides a dining table, chairs and a grill and a shady spot on hot summer days. The private pool is also available for use and affords a wonderful view of the Tevere valley. You can find a swing and a canopy swing in the garden. There are ten car parking spaces behind the house.
The house is listed. It was built in 1800 and last renovated in 2000, exuding rustic charm. The garden is surrounded by olive trees. The balcony with a view of the lake is especially beautiful, as well as the view of the Tevere valley from the pool. Board games are available for use free of charge, ensuring leisurely and entertaining moments with family and friends. You can also use the games console free of charge, along with toys for children. A vacuum cleaner, a highchair and three fans are available. The washing machine is in the bathroom on the ground floor. The fireplace in the living room can be used free of charge in winter, with the necessary firewood supplied for free for the first use. Additional firewood is payable. Pets are allowed on request. The house does not have Wi-Fi, nor can it be guaranteed in the area.
You can visit the nearby art towns Orvieto, Todi, Amelia, Narni and Viterbo. We also recommend the famous Cascate delle Marmore, the highest waterfall in Italy about 8km away. The nearest grocery shop is just 50 metres away. It is about 3km to cafes and restaurants.
