Modern holiday apartments near the beach with a private terrace, in a hilly location with a panoramic view of the bay
This new and modern house (built in 2010) with three holiday apartments on the ground floor is in a quiet area in the little town Vrbnik. It is on a hill, affording a breathtaking panoramic view of the sea, the bay and the locality. It is only about 700 metres or a ten-minute walk to the centre and the beach. The house is also conveniently on the main bus line that links the island with the mainland.
The apartments are fitted with air conditioning and free wireless Internet access.
Each apartment features a large terrace with a wonderful panoramic view of the sea. All the terraces provide garden furniture and a grill. The site is fenced and is therefore also suitable for a holiday with children. Each apartment has a car parking space.
Rijeka airport is 28km away, about half an hour by car. Shops, grocery shops, cafés and restaurants can be found all around the centre. Owing to the central location and the good transport connections, the island is a good starting point for exploring many of Croatia’s sights, such as Plitvice Lakes National park, which consist of a chain of hundreds of lakes with beautiful waterfalls and is a UNESCO world natural heritage site, or the Pula amphitheatre from Roman times. The island also offers outdoor activities such as diving, donkey riding, sailing or windsurfing. The island of Krk also has several well-preserved medieval towns such as Omisalj, Krk and Vrbnik, built of the regional white stone, with museums and historical churches.
Ground-floor apartment for two adults and two children
We are located on top of a hill overlooking the town of Vrbnik and the bay. The apartment is located about 600 m from beaches and town , 10 minute walk. The island of Krk is connected to the mainland by a bridge. The Rijeka airport (RJK) is 28 km (30 minutes by car) away from the apartment. Lastly, our apartment is located along the main bus route that connects the island with the mainland.
The apartment of around 55m² can accommodate four people. The centrepiece of the apartment is the spacious living room with air conditioning and an open kitchen. The sitting area provides a flatscreen TV for evening entertainment and a comfortable sofa that can be converted into a bed for two children. On the left by the terrace door there is a dining table for four people and behind it an adjoining kitchen unit, equipped with a stove, oven, coffee machine, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and kettle. The bedroom next to it is furnished with a double bed 160 cm wide and there is also a bathroom with a shower, WC, washbasin and hairdryer, for a good start to the day.
The apartment has a big terrace with a magnificent panoramic view of the sea.The terrace is equipped with garden furniture and barbecue,so the property is fenced and is therefore suitable for children .

ABOUT VRBNIK:
At a 50 m high cliff, one of the nicest and oldest places on the island Krk is situated – it is Vrbnik. The town is rising up from the sea and its stone houses, narrow streets and the surrounding natural wealth attract many visitors every year.
The town is proud of its indigenous grape varieties, the so-called Vrbnička žlahtina, which is why this place is often called the city of wine. In addition to wine Vrbnik is also known for its unique Glagolitic heritage, and beautiful nature which many artists want to catch their brushes.
