Villa Dolluca is an attractive and well-presented detached property in a quiet and elevated position offering truly breathtaking views of picturesque Kalkan village and of the surrounding Taurus mountains. Villa Dolluca is in a tranquil area and is just 5 minutes' drive from Kalkan’s village centre. It's within easy reach of the region’s many historical sites, fabulous beaches and areas of natural beauty.

Set over two floors, the villa can accommodate 4 – 6 guests (the 5th and 6th guests, if applicable, would be accommodated on the two single-sized sofa/day beds in the living area). The owners use the villa as their winter home, so as a result, the property has been stylishly furnished with great attention to detail. The ground floor has an open-plan living, kitchen and dining area and owing to the floor to ceiling windows, the property is flooded with natural light which adds to the spacious feel of the villa. The pool terrace is accessed by French doors from the dining area or from the living area. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, each having access to a spacious balcony. This features a comfortable seating area with breathtaking views over Kalkan Bay out towards Mouse and Snake Islands, making it a perfect place to enjoy a peaceful morning coffee or a sundowner before heading out to dinner. The villa has a good-sized pool and terrace area which has recently been extended to incorporate a decked platform with comfortable seating and stunning sea views. This also overlooks a well-establised garden, planted with lemon, orange and mandarin trees. The villa has a good-sized pool and terrace area which has recently been extended to incorporate a decked platform with comfortable seating and stunning sea views. This also overlooks a well-establised garden, planted with lemon, orange and mandarin trees. Also on the terrace is an al-fresco dining area plus a shaded gazebo which is the perfect spot to unwind and relax with a book and a glass of wine.

Nearest Airport: Dalaman at 123 Kilometres Coast/Beach: Kalkan Beach (by the harbour) - 5 mins drive. Patara Beach (19kms of golden sand and totally unspoilt) - 15 mins drive. Kaputas Beach (at the foot of a stunning ravine) - 10 mins drive. Various 'beach clubs' within the area - these are man-made platforms with direct access to the sea. These offer sunbeds & parasols / water sports / snorkeling opportunities / restaurant & toilet facilities. Travel: Dalaman airport is approximately 1.5 hours drive away. Private transfers can be arranged by us and / or car hire. Please enquire about costs. Distances: The villa itself is located in the Kiziltas area of Kalkan. A car would be useful for some of the time as it is an approximate 25 minute walk to the village centre. Having a car is not absolutely essential as an excellent taxi service operates from the village and you can call a taxi to the villa at any time, by using the pre-programmed telephone number in the mobile phone provided. In addition, there is a Dolmus service (local bus) that runs past the villa every hour into the village centre. Further Details: The historic town of Kalkan is situated on Turkey's gorgeous Lycian Coast and was once a simple Turkish/Greek fishing village. Today's Kalkan is quietly sophisticated and postcard pretty with a few good quality low-rise hotels and privately owned villas, a multitude of excellent roof-top restaurants offering all manner of culinary delights, together with a good selection of of stylish and atmospheric blues and jazz bars. Unlike some other Turkish coastal resorts, Kalkan's main economy derives from tourism and consequently, it's inhabitants put much effort and pride into the town's historic preservation. As a result of very strict building regulations and the efforts of the Kalkan Foundation, the town has retained its charm and special ambiance. The wonderful hospitality of the Kalkan people is another reason why the first-time visitor invariably returns time after time. The village shops stay open 'til around midnight and are well stocked with interesting antiques, crafts, jewellery, carpets and clothing. The narrow streets of the old town are lined with whitewashed shuttered buildings festooned with brightly coloured bougainvillea intermingled with shops and terrace-topped restaurants. These streets twist down to the harbour, which is the focus of the village and here you can enjoy a meal whilst watching the world go by or by looking at the array of elegant 'gullets'. During the day, you can make use of one of the many 'beach clubs', visit the local market (Thursday) engage in some of the local sporting activities (such as water-skiing, parascending, scuba diving, trekking etc), take a trip to one of the historical sites, drive a jeep up into the mountains, cruise on a gullet or simply relax by your pool.
