This independent house is situated on the Belgian-Luxembourg border, in the beautiful valley of the River Our, between Burg-Reuland and Ouren. It is barely located inside Belgium, as it is just 100 metres away from the German border and 3 km away from the border with Luxembourg. In this triangular corner at the border, German is spoken. German is also spoken in all the East Cantons of Belgium, which form the High Moors to the north. Here you can not only rest and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful nature, but also relish the good food of this area. You can walk endlessly in the diverse environment and enjoy the magnificent panoramic views and the cosy valleys. You can also plan a day trip to the cities of Clervaux, Vianden, Diekirch, Luxembourg and Monschau by car. The city of Trier is definitely worth a visit if you love market squares or wish to visit Porta Nigra, an almost completely preserved Roman city gate. Detailed tourist information, brochures and details of hiking trails nearby are available at the apartment. The house is built on a hillside, so the actual living area can be accessed only via a staircase. The living area consists of the living room with an open kitchen and provides access to the balcony and the terrace. From the living room, an open staircase leads to the first floor which houses the bedrooms and the bathroom. Please note that the bunk beds in one of the bedrooms are not suitable for adults, as they are only 1.90 metres long and 0.80 metres wide. The house is spacious and bright, with wonderfully comfortable furnishings - including the leather sofa and the leather chairs in the dining area, the large flat screen TV and Wi-Fi. On the southern side of the house there is a magnificent balcony where you can enjoy the sunlight until late in the evening. There is also a sheltered terrace at the back of the house. From the living room and the balcony you can enjoy a spectacular view of the beautiful valley in front of the house, which changes colour in every season. The house is the ideal choice for those who love nature and a relaxed life.

    “Heerlijk licht en ruim vakantiehuis. Inrichting is wel behoorlijk gedateerd. Schoon huis, prachtige ligging met uitzicht (wel direct aan een weg gelegen waar in seizoen veel motoren langs komen. Verder erg rustig. Het ligt eigenlijk niet in de plaats Burg reuland maar in een gehuchtje dat Oberhausen heet.”

    “Prima comfortabel huis. Voldoende ruimte voor gezin van 4 met prettige woonkamer en 3 slaapkamers. Ook het balkon is verrassend ruim en zonnig. Alleen 2 matrassen van de hoofdslaapkamer (1 2-persoonsbed) zijn aan vervanging toe. De uitrusting is de keuken is ietwat karig (eenvoudige waterkoker, elektrische kookplaat, 1 schilmesje, 1 speciale vuilniszak waar al het afval van een hele week in moet), maar dit meer als tip voor de eigenaar.
    Het sleutelkluisje werkt overigens over prima, zodat er geen contact met de eigenaar nodig is.”
