Holiday villa near the river and the beach, with an elegant atmosphere and a shared garden

Villa I Poggioli from the 19th century offers apartments with a view of the Montemarcello National Park, the River Magra or the Apuan Alps. During the latest renovation in 2010 the four apartments was newly furnished with great taste and attention to detail.

All the apartments have a flatscreen TV with satellite channels and a fully-equipped kitchen unit with a stove, dishwasher and microwave. The accommodation has heating and air conditioning, marble floors, a washing machine and a dryer. Bed linen, kitchen and hand towels are provided. Free wireless Internet access is available throughout the accommodation. You can park by the house or on public car parks nearby.

Relax under the gazebo on the furnished terrace or on a walk along the riverside promenade. There are various minimarkets in the town centre within walking distance. Bicycles can be hired free of charge. In order to discover the gastronomic specialities of Liguria, choose one of the wonderful restaurants on the riverside, where you can enjoy fish that is freshly caught every day. The house is at the foot of a hill, right where the River Magra flows into the Ligurian Sea. The little harbour of Bocca di Magra and the beach are about a 10-minute walk from the villa. The staff at I Poggioli will be happy to help you reserve sun loungers and parasols at the beach.

The lovely apartments by the sea offer a breathtaking view of the Apuan Alps in the midst of Mediterranean vegetation. The location of the villa is ideal for those who are drawn to the beach, as well as for hiking enthusiasts. Whatever the reason for your trip is, you will be able to relax from everyday stress here in this little piece of paradise between the sea and the protected nature of the Montemarcello-Magra nature reserve (Italian: Parco naturale regionale di Montemarcello-Magra). There are also countless trip options from here: e.g. the five towns of the Cinque Terre, a UNESCO world cultural heritage site surrounded by pristine nature, or the elegant little town of Portofino. Both are musts during your stay in Liguria. You should also visit the magnificent town of Genoa. If you follow the coastal road, you soon get to Tuscany with the cities of Florence, Pisa and Lucca. The nearest airports in Pisa and Genoa are about 50 minutes away along the A12.

Holiday Apartment in Bocca Di Magra with Private Parking

This is an apartment on the first floor of the house, providing around 33m² of space for two people.

The accommodation has an open living and dining room with a dining table and a fully-equipped kitchen unit. A comfortable baby or toddler bed is available. The bedroom has two single beds that can also be joined together, bedside tables, reading lamps, a desk, a wardrobe and two chairs. The bathroom has both a modern shower cubicle and a romantic bath with a marble surround. There are a washing machine and dryer in an area in front of the bathroom.

The apartment is cool and quiet in summer, ideal for a couple with a child up to four years old. Four big windows allow plenty of daylight into the apartment. On one side you look out at the sea and the river delta, on the other side there is a forested hill. There is outdoor seating for al fresco dining in the shared garden.

The center of teh village is about 350 meters far and the beach is an easy walk. The bakery and the grocery are at short distance. Nice walks to the hilltop villages. By the little port many reastaurants serve local fish and organic pizzas.
